Changing Europe begins with love

Amazing! The church is God's strategy for reaching Europe with his love

“After this I looked and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb.” Revelation 7:9

This is God’s vision. A glorious picture of the risen Lord Jesus, worshipped and adored by people from every corner of the globe. God wants to use us to achieve his vision, as we play our part in telling the story of the one who died and was raised to life.

Are you finding it hard to know how to choose a mission organisation to serve with? How do you know they agree with you, that they’ll support you, that you’ll like them? ECM missionaries speak about their experience serving with ECM…

CHURCH IS WHERE IT BEGINS

Evangelism is more than a story of personal salvation. We must tell and live out the story of the new community God has brought into being by his Son Jesus. Just as when Europe was first evangelised and needed church planting, so too the re-evangelisation of Europe must go hand-in-hand with more churches being planted.

CHURCH IS WHERE IT CONTINUES

ECM sees every church as a visible witness of the gospel in society and therefore encourages every member to be actively involved. ECM gives priority to the spiritual growth of the believers in the church through teaching, training and equipping with resources. ECM works with the local church in each country and where possible with other mission agencies and organisations.

CHURCH IS WHERE IT CONCLUDES

ECM strives towards churches that become self-supporting and independent of mission agencies, and looks for future leaders who can be developed. Churches and mission agencies are always there at the conclusion of a ministry or when the Lord calls someone on to something different. It is especially vital that missionaries are cared for when returning home.
