Position vacant: Administrative Assistant, ECM Office Sydney
Location: Croydon, Sydney, NSW
Job Type: Part time
25-30 hours a week, Mon-Fri. approx. 9am-3pm
Reports to ECM National Director
Coordinate and carry out office general administration including reception, mail, couriers, greeting workers and filing.
Provide administration and general office support to ensure the effective ministry of the mission and our workers both in Australia, New Zealand and in Europe.
Respond to ECM telephone and email inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
Liaise patiently and in a godly manner with ECM workers and supporters.
As required, to facilitate event management.
Participation in key ECM events as needed
To coordinate asset (property and vehicle) inventories, usage and maintenance including tenancies.
Bookkeeping support and donor database administration (DTracker - training provided).
Website support (training provided)
Maintain a clean and safe workspace, and abide by workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
Oversee distribution of ECM newsletters and other communication
Other tasks as directed.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Diploma or Certificate IV in Business Admin or relevant experience would be an advantage.
First aid certificate preferable.
At least two years experience in a professional, administrative capacity is strongly preferred.
Excellent computer skills including sound and demonstrated ability in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Organised, detail oriented and able to meet deadlines.
Team worker and yet able to work independently.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Complete administration tasks competently, on time and in teamwork.
Provide office-based assistance for supporters, missionaries and volunteers
Ensure office is clean and presentable at all times
